How it Started
Born out of the vision of a Danish mom living in Los Angeles, Copenhagen Kid embodies the true essence of Scandinavian design, merging aesthetics with function.
When Tiki welcomed her son into the world in 2018, she scoured the market for a play mat that was both functional and beautifully designed. Finding none that matched her vision of safety, and aesthetics, she drew from her love for Scandinavian interiors and dreamy prints to birth Copenhagen Kid.

I love the design and the color. I think it appears to be a quality mat. I will say that because it breaks apart, I have found that the edging where you can add the sides or rearrange the mat is slightly more apparent than in the photos. I wish it were double-sided with the top coding on the bottom to make it more durable if I wanted to put it on an outside deck for play.

These mats are not cheaply built. You get what you pay for and worth every penny. They will hold up and they provide a safe chem free place for baby to crawl and play and are firm but thick enough to provide protection from falls. This is not the picture of the blue one. We have need for three areas and have the gray and pink set up. Blue not set up yet but will be on our closed in porch.
