Karl playing on waves 'clouds' play mat
waves collection
A freehand artwork made with gouache and fine round brushes. Painted dots form soft, rhythmic curves - echoing the tidal flow along the Øresund (ur-eh-soond) near Helsingør (hel-sing-ur), a seaside town north of Copenhagen.
flowers
Our Flower pattern was created using acrylic paint and hand-painted stencil artwork. The stencil was slightly shifted between layers, allowing petals to overlap naturally, mirroring spring’s quiet arrival in København (Copenhagen, koo-ben-hown), when soft hues replace winter’s muted tones.

dots
Our Dots pattern is a block-printed artwork hand-stamped using pigment ink with a carved printing block. Slight variations in pressure and alignment introduces contrasting hues and shapes. Thisrhythmic arrangement is inspired by vibrant art scenes in Copenhagen neighborhoods like Nørrebro (nur-eh-bro) and Østerbro (oo-ster-bro).

strokes
Our Strokes pattern is a monoprint artwork created by brushing thick pigment onto a flat plate in expressive movements. Paper was pressed onto it, capturing brush marks and fluid smears in a single impression. The abstract art is inspired by Copenhagens harbor on windy days, when water surfaces
"Good design is about finding a balance between appearance and functionality."
