1. Policy Purpose

This Warranty Policy outlines the scope, limitations, and claims process of the 2-Year Limited Manufacturer’s Warranty offered by Copenhagen Kid LLC to its customers in the United States. It ensures clarity and fairness in addressing manufacturing defects while reinforcing our commitment to product quality and customer satisfaction.

2. Warranty Coverage

Copenhagen Kid LLC warrants that its products are free from defects in materials and craftsmanship under normal, intended use for a period of two (2) years from the date of original purchase.

Covered Defects

• Warping, cracking, or delamination due to manufacturing flaws
• Seam separation or panel failure not resulting from customer misuse
• Other craftsmanship issues identifiable at the time of delivery

3. Warranty Exclusions

This warranty does not cover:

• Normal wear and tear
• Damage due to improper use or neglect of care guidelines
• Water damage from trapped moisture
• Surface damage from sharp objects, dragging, or heavy furniture
• Use on untreated or overly sensitive flooring
• Exposure to outdoor conditions or direct sunlight
• Fading or discoloration from UV exposure
• Damage from power vacuums or harsh cleaning agents

4. Customer Responsibilities

Customers must follow these care guidelines to preserve product quality and warranty eligibility:

• Wipe spills promptly with a dry cloth or sponge
• Clean only with mild dish soap and water
• Avoid harsh or abrasive cleaners
• Dry the floor thoroughly before placing the mat
• Avoid outdoor use or direct sun exposure
• Do not use power vacuums or place heavy/sharp items on the mat

5. How to Make a Warranty Claim

To initiate a claim:

• Email info@copenhagenkid.com
• Include:
  • Your order number or digital proof of purchase
  • Clear photographs of the defect
  • A short description of the issue
  • Your name and shipping address

Returns are not required unless explicitly requested by Copenhagen Kid LLC. If the claim falls within warranty scope, we will offer a replacement or refund, at our discretion.
